I was born and raised in Sri Lanka, where I grew up spending most of my time around computers, experimenting with software, and figuring out how things worked. I think I developed much of that curiosity from my cousin, who was already a software engineer when I was still in school.
I studied Software Engineering and started doing projects with a couple of friends during that time. Back then, we were mostly trying things out, building small projects, learning as we went, and figuring out how to turn ideas into actual products people could use. That eventually led me into full-stack engineering professionally.
I later worked as a full-stack engineer for around four years. Working there gave me experience in building systems that needed to be reliable, scalable, and user-focused.
After that, I randomly met Kasun, and I joined him to build Voxitec, focusing more deeply on product development and exploring new technologies.
Outside of work, I spend time with family and friends, play cricket, do housework, and occasionally enjoy doing absolutely nothing on lazy days.
