I was born and raised in Florida, USA. Growing up I was always interested in the world and how it functioned, taking things apart and putting them back together. As I have grown older I have realized that the way the modern world works in computer systems, and I seek to learn as much about them on all levels as possible. From the quantum mechanics inside of a computer chip to the high level architecture of the world wide web.
In order to do this I am studying Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, and Computer Engineering at the University of Cincinnati. Along the way I have been exploring bio-technology, genetic engineering, and philosophy in order to deepen my understanding of other interesting fields!
I am starting my career at voxitec, and hope to expand into doing all forms of computer related projects. At voxitec I have thus far helped contribute to re-working the navigation panel and adding in a global impact section to the website. Outside of voxitec I have worked on a wide variety of projects to a revolutionary application to improve security with improved accessibility and security of 2FA. To safeguard humanities knowledge by creating secure decentralized backups of our most important documents.
When I’m not hacking away at computers I get up to a large variety of activities. I love sustainability, and self reliance so many of my hobbies revolve around being as sustainable as possible! I love cooking, gardening, foraging, beekeeping, and helping to raise chicken! I also love going thrifting and upcycling clothing. When I’m not doing this (or cuddling up with a book and a cup of tea) I do HEMA fencing which is 50/50 history and martial arts where you study historical documents about european martial arts (particularly long sword dueling) and then get together and practice using historical weaponry to spar!
I also try to work my hardest at building a community around me. I am the president and a founder of my Universities Linux and Open Source Club seeking to spread equitable software among the student body. I am also the president and founder of a security club at my university which helps teach the student body about various personal and professional security related topics.
